Starting the day in God’s word starts your day right. I’ve noticed that when I start my day off with God, I tend to be more aligned with God’s will in my life. As a result, I’m a more content, peaceful, calm, and grounded person. When we start our day in the word of God and with morning prayer, it sets the perfect peace of God as a guard around our hearts and minds. It helps us to lean on God’s truth instead of our own understanding, especially during times of trouble and trial.

There are practical ways to start your day with God. Set a time, place, and gather the things you need to be successful. As someone once said, “a goal without a plan is just a wish”. Make a plan and execute the plan.
